Math is a difficult subject for most children during their school years; a lot of children get anxious when they try to do the basic math operations. even to learn the basic mathematical concepts and find it challenging to solve mathematical problems. Their struggle with numeracy and arithmetic skills affects their academic performance and this continues throughout their life by impairing their ability to think logically and solve problems in real-life situations.
This module focuses on evidence- and practice-based strategies, techniques and resources that can be used to help improve the development of numeracy skills in children with special needs to improve their academic outcomes.
